On June 6th a nice turnout of Birchwood residents met at noon in our lovely park to have lunch and socialize.
Hamburgers and hot dogs were provided by the association and everyone brought a tasty side dish or dessert. Whole Foods helped out by donating the buns, condiments and chips.
City Board of Director Doris Wright, our ward representative, stopped by with Christopher Porter with the Department of Housing & Neighborhood Programs to meet with residents and share information about some things going on in the city that might impact our neighborhood.
Residents were also able to visit with Director Wright and voice concerns about neighborhood issues.
If you didn't make it you will want to be sure and go to the next one and not miss out on all the fun, fellowship and good food!
